- Tita is Marrickville’s modern take on a Filipino carinderia – a love letter to “non-traditional” Filipina aunties from the team behind Donut Papi. Mornings centre on classic silog plates (garlic rice, fried egg and your choice of tapa, longanisa or adobo), alongside fresh pandesal rolls, loaded breakfast buns and house drinks made with Gabriel Coffee, including the Manila latte. For something sweet, there are Filo-style doughnuts, burnt Basque cheesecake and ube soft serve that’s as fun as it looks.
